Anonymous information, which cannot identify a person, is not considered personal data for this Policy. The Moleskine Foundation websites do not collect information that allows for personal identification for profiling or online advertising purposes.

a) Becoming a member of Moleskine Foundation ETS

Data processed: To become a member of Moleskine Foundation, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, surname, email address, coupon code (if available), and banking details.

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: The data provided for registration will be processed solely to enable you to become a member of Moleskine Foundation and allow us to receive payments for membership registration and renewal. The legal basis for processing your data for these purposes is the necessity to enter into the membership contract following your request.

 

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for as long as you remain a member of Moleskine Foundation and six months thereafter. At the end of the retention period, your data will be deleted.

 

When filling out the form to become a member, you will also be asked if you wish to receive our Newsletter. For processing your data for this purpose, see below under point e).

 

b) Downloading our press kit

Data processed: If you wish to download our press kit to get information and images related to our main projects and events, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, surname, and email address.

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: The data provided for registration will be processed solely to provide you with the press kit. For this purpose, when filling out the fields, you will be asked to give your express consent to process your data for the stated purposes.

 

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for two months.

 

When downloading our press kit, you will also be asked if you wish to receive our Newsletter. For processing your data for this purpose, see below under point e).

 

c) Contacting us for information or other inquiries

Data processed: We will collect and process the information you choose to share with us (e.g., email address, name, etc.).

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: When you contact us by phone, email, or any other method, your consent is considered given simply because you reached out to us. Your data will be processed solely to respond to your request.

 

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for the time necessary to fulfill your request and, in any case, for no longer than six months.

 

d) Sending us a volunteer collaboration request

Data processed: We will collect and process the information you choose to share with us (e.g., email address, name, work experience, phone number, etc.).

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: When you contact us by email, your consent is given simply because you contacted us. Your data will be processed solely to handle your collaboration request.

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for the time strictly necessary to evaluate your request and contact you. The information you provide through your collaboration request will be kept for no longer than two years.

 

e) Subscribing to our Newsletter

Data processed: If you wish to subscribe to our Newsletter and receive updates on our projects and events, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, surname, and email address.

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: The data provided for registration will be processed solely to send you our Newsletter. When filling out the fields, you will be asked to give your express consent to process your data for this purpose.

 

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for one year.

 

f) Donating to support one of Moleskine Foundation's projects

Data processed: If you wish to support the Moleskine Foundation, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, surname, email, billing address, city, tax code, country, donation amount, and banking details, including card details used for payment.

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: The data provided will be processed solely to receive your donation. The legal basis for processing your data for this purpose is completing the donation.

 

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for one year, except for your banking details, which will be retained until the bank issues the payment receipt. At the end of the retention period, your data will be deleted.

 

When filling out the donation form, you will also be asked if you wish to receive our Newsletter. For processing your data for this purpose, see above under point e).

 

g) Purchasing our Folios magazine

Data processed: To purchase our Folios magazine, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, surname, shipping address, email, tax code/VAT number, phone number, and banking details for payment.

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: The personal data provided at the time of purchase will be processed solely to complete your purchase and receive payment. The legal basis for processing is the execution of the purchase contract.

 

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for a maximum of 10 years from the end of the contractual relationship with Moleskine Foundation or, if retained longer, until any disputes are resolved to fulfill legal and tax obligations. Your data will be deleted at the end of the retention period unless a more extended retention period is required to comply with legal obligations.

 

You will also be asked if you wish to receive our Newsletter when filling out the purchase form. For processing your data for this purpose, see above under point e).

 

h) Applying for the Creativity Pioneers Fund and the Creativity for Social Change Award

Data processed: To apply for one of the initiatives and programs promoted by Moleskine Foundation, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, surname, email address, contact details, organization details, and answers to questions describing your organization's activity and impact.

 

Purpose and legal basis for processing: The data you provide during registration will be processed solely to select you for the Creativity Pioneers Fund or the Creativity for Social Change Award and further to understand the field of creativity for social
change.

 

Data retention period: Your data will be retained for as long as you are a member of the Creativity Pioneers Fund and six months afterward. At the end of the retention period, your data will be deleted.

 

Information we collect about you

Data processed: Every time you visit our site, the following data is automatically collected:

  • Technical information, including IP addresses or domain names used to connect to our site, browser type and version, time zone settings, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform.
  • The information about your visit to our site and online browsing, including the full URL, clickstream data, dates and times of browsing, requested resources, file size obtained in response, response times and states from the server, and methods used to exit

Browsing information is not collected to identify users but, by its nature, may allow identification through processing and association with data held by third parties.
